This year marks a special moment: it’s the 20th anniversary of my perfume venture.
Two decades of creating scents—of learning, experimenting, failing, discovering, and sharing. I can hardly believe it. To celebrate, I’m working on a few perfume novelties that feel especially meaningful. Some will be bold and new, others might echo back to earlier creations—reinterpretations, tributes, quiet nods to the journey so far.
These fragrances are still unfolding. Some are nearly finished, others are whispering ideas that I need time to explore. But I look forward to sharing them with you throughout this anniversary year.
And that brings me to this blog.
I’ve always believed that perfume is more than a beautiful object. It’s a story. A mood. A memory caught in a bottle. And often, there’s so much more behind a fragrance than what fits on a label or in a product description. That’s why I started this blog.
Here, I want to share a bit of my world with you—the world of niche, artisanal perfume making.
This is where I’ll write about the things that inspire me: a walk through a spice market, a fleeting memory of summer light, the scent of dry leaves underfoot. I’ll talk about how perfumes are born—about raw materials, about accidents that turn into breakthroughs, and about the quiet joy of blending something new.
Sometimes I’ll share news: new perfumes, updates from the studio, or behind-the-scenes glimpses into the craft. Sometimes it’ll just be a thought, a reflection, something I want to share because it moved me.
I don’t see perfume as a product. I see it as art, made slowly and with intention. And I believe those who wear it often feel the same. If you’re here reading this, perhaps you do too.
So welcome. I’m glad you’re here. I hope you’ll return, now and then, to read along as I share what I create, what I learn, and what moves me.
With warm fragrant greetings,
Andy
