Some of you might remember Tauerville, a creative venture I launched some years ago. It was playful, fresh, and gave me the freedom to explore perfume creation without overthinking. I came up with quite a few fragrances there, some of which I still find charming and full of life. There was a quirkiness about Tauerville, a spontaneous joy in composing that I truly loved.
But over time, I felt a shift.
As the Tauer Perfumes brand matured, so did I, and so did my perspective on what I want to offer and how I want to offer it. Having two separate lines became confusing, for me and perhaps for others too. I found myself returning to some of the Tauerville creations and asking myself: What if I take the essence of these perfumes and elevate them? What if I revisit them with the craftsmanship, depth, and richness that defines Tauer Perfumes?
This is how Rose Absolue and Vanilla Absolue were born. More fragrances should follow. I have one formula sitting there in my formula book that I love so much and that fits perfectly into this line….. it’s going to be a fun project for 2026.
Anyhow, these new fragrances are not simply reissues. They build on the ideas from Tauerville but go a touch deeper. They are richer, more luxurious, more complete. My words. And they come in my iconic pentagonal flacon and are wrapped in our FSC-certified Swiss-made cardboard boxes because I want every detail to reflect the care and quality behind what I do.
It feels right to bring these creations back under one roof. Tauer Perfumes is my house, my universe, and this is where they belong.
Warm regards,
Andy
