Somerset House

Today, I have the ultimate pleasure to announce that it's now official. L'air du désert marocain is one of ten fragrances selected by the Somerset House in London to be featured in their upcoming exhibition "Perfume- A Sensory Journey Through Contemporary Scent."
It will run from June 21 until September 17 (2017).

You can see what other scents are featured and learn more about the Somerset House and the exhibition here.

I am so happy.

  • That's fantastic and well deserved! Congratulations on this acknowledgement along with some illustrious names. - I would love to see that multi-sensory exhibition.

    • HI Marcus, thanks! Yes, I am curious to see how they, the Somerset House, will put it all together. Of course, we talked a lot about it, but I can't wait to see it happening !

  • Dear Andy, thank you for sharing :-) - we are happy together with you .It's well deserved! I think L'air du désert marocain is a modern classic which will remain.

  • That is fantastic indeed and you more than deserve this Andy!
Also I want you to know that I am very impressed by your brought me back to my very early times when men smoked pipes and cigars of the best quality, furniture was made of fine wood and as well my times in Fez Morocco.... To me Attar has fully your signature and it gets more delightful by the hours.. It is soft and warm on the skin and more modest than for example L'Air du desert Maroccain.
To me Attar is beyond what I sofar have smelled from you! Thank you for creating something so pure and exquisite.

    • Thank you very much, Marianne. I am very happy indeed. I got many compliments so far for the attar. As a creator, you tend to be blind after a while and do not see the whole picture. Thus, any feedback is always highly appreciated. And yes: I am so happy about the exhibition happening. This is a blast!

  • Congratulations Andy! LADDM is a modern masterpiece. :-)
