he is back

Ha!

Hyacinth, or the mechanic as you like it, is back and made an apparition in my e-mail inbox yesterday. I will publish the comment later today on my website. The comment is refreshing as the mechanic seems to appear somewhat wimpy, more on the fresh “Russian olive oil” side than oily sexy skin. Reading A.’s line (Thank you, A.) I imagine a pizza boy oiling his pizza wheel indeed, rather than a mechanic. Well…. pizza boys anyone?

To be serious: I love the comment for it is a contrapunto…Thus, it looks as if this week is a week where I write about things coming from the past. And writing these lines I listen to the the doors, Break On Through …

    About the past:

If you have a past, it means you have experience.
If you learned with the past, it means you made mistakes, you learned a lesson and you moved on, happy to have that knowledge.
If you have a past, it is hauting you or you are all the time going back there, either you have unresolved issues or the present and future scares you right now, so you go back there, where you know what you are going to find, to feel etc…

This is my opinion in general, not specifically to you Andy, know what I mean?

I always say to friends that, to live from the past is a good business to:
Museums - they charge you to take a look at the past they keep.
Flea markets - they make money selling past.
Writers - they make money writting about the past.
Historians and history teachers- they make money teaching the past
archeologists - they make money finding past
    and so on…

The rest of us, should only learn from it and keep going.

Life is too short to keep checking back there, little drawers filled with piles of thoughts and feelings.
I am now tryinmg to do like computers: control del, to the bin, I clean the drawers to make more room for new fulfilling choices…
I keep the past in CDs these days…

you are dear to me you know that!

    Dear Cris
Indeed , my past is in CD’s and hard disk drives and part of it is in excel files….scented memories compressed to a few lines in a computer, waiting to be start living again, being released one day…

1 pepperoni, 1 quatro formaggi and 1 marinara, please… and don’t forget an oily pizza boy as a supplement…

All I can say is that I’ve been fascinated by the concept of this floral grease monkey ever since I first “got wind” of it (oh, that I could actually catch a whiff)…this Russian element, putting the repair artist in the kitchen with olive pits, rather than out in the garage in the oil pit, only further intrigues me…

    Keep the information coming! :)

    Good morning to you, AromaX
I join your order! I am getting hungry when I think cheese and tomatoes …

    Dear ScentScelf
I got a query recently from someone who wanted to buy a little bit of this fragrance. I checked and realized that I only have a few drops at home. …hehehe…. Not even I can sniff it right now. I will have to mix an aliquot again…one day when I find time. I wonder how oily I find it myself these days….
