As per the previous post, I don’t know if it’s good or bad to be poor right now in that I don’t have a bunch of investments or property that’s rapidly devaluing. I’ve got nothing to go and demand back from the bank. However, if the cost of living day to day gets much higher, I may be in deep trouble.
Thank goodness for things that smell good, good food, animals, and friends, which will get you through even the roughest of economic times.

TRex, thanks! The review was a bit of a stretch; I’m just beginning to educate my nose so I can go from “ooooh pretty!” to something a little more in depth. And I totally hear you on the being poor thing; on the one hand no investments make for less stress, but things like rising gas costs sure make it harder to get by.
