Sorry to disappoint some of you. Well, a majority of you. But the right answer in the last post was number 2. I have learned a lot. I’d never thought that so many details can be picked in a single, little picture of a neck, a tie and a shirt. Kind of 360 degree exposure, total coverage of blind spots. Today is Tuesday and I have learned a lesson about the earnest of picking the right tie.
And thus:

“may be you want to make the pictures in front of the flowers” said the wedding lady yesterday, when the W.-factor’s niece got married. It was the moment of moments, I guess, and the wedding lady (the city’s official registrar) was -of course- used to it.

Thus, there was this lovely mix between the extraordinary happening, orchestrated by an old hand habitué, knowing exactly where the best background for the rings was….the flowers.

It was tie time, both of us, the W.-factor and the perfumer, got into our shirt and tie uniform and enjoyed a great party. So you know pretty much how the W.-factor and I must feel now.

Thus, to share this joy and bring you in front of the flowers, too: Today’s your chance to win a bottle of the Incense rosé shipped to your place:

Fragrant greetings to you all!

I forgot to tell you all in advance: I am in the French speaking part of Switzerland, close to the lake Geneva, at a retreat  (in French: une retraite), with my colleagues from the company I am also working for.

The goal of this retraite: Think and work hard …

Thus, I will be back this Wednesday evening, with a suitcase of things to do and prepare for the end of this May.

Well, I am not an interior nor a window decorator it seems. And the area at disposition was too small for building a sand dune or placing palm trees.

Thus, we had to send the camels back.

until somewhat happy again we came to the conclusion…

The theme must be BLUE.

So we reached out very simply for blue.

Guided by Tania Sanchez’ last sentence in her Air du désert critic in the book

(“wear this fragrance and feel the cloudless sky rush far above you.”)

we wanted the cloudless sky and a blue that fits with the box, the samples,and the book!

Well, I guess that’s about as good as it gets there.
