Monday again and a March outlook
What a weekend. Consumption society queuing. I was trying to buy the i-pod classic, black. No way. then silver. Forget it. Sold out everywhere in town, at least there where I was looking for it. The friendly lady in the Mac shop told me that she can not promise anything, translating into “we will get a batch black ones in the next few weeks, but they are sold mostly already. You might want to join our waiting list for the next/second next delivery …” Thus, we are talking November….but not me: Ha! I ordered on-line, here, where they had 16 in stock. I will get it this evening.
Well.
Nevertheless: The i-pod classic outlook is better, I have to admit, than the time plan for any of the upcoming incenses from Mr. T. So, here is the plan there:
1. Incense extrême: Batch stands since yesterday in the cellar, waiting for dilution by November, waiting to be ready for bottling in December. This one will hit the market by January/February.
2. Incense rosé: I got the message that my Myrrh needs some time. Queuing for myrrh….Thus, we are talking November until I will get it; this translates into: batch set up in November, dilution by December, bottling in January and February, hitting the market by March.
Thus, here’s what I will do in March:
I’ll fly west.
Hello LA again.
Hallelujah.

Later this week: More on rose trials and dates to mark for December.

Dear Andy as it is good, that it is possible to do purchases on-line and to not rise in turn:) At us in Russia, I much and often stood in a queue.
I with impatience shall wait Incense extrême, but it is good that it was January. And to me it is very interesting Incense rosé .
Fine photo and fantastic night LA.
At us the snow has already dropped out.
Yours Vladimir

So happy to hear that the Incense extrême and Incense rosé are coming along so nicely. I can’t wait, I’m so excited!

Dear Vladimir
I think I can imagine what it must have been like, back then in Russia. I must be honest: I am an impatient person and I can not stand queuing at all. And not getting things. Especially if I have saved my money, and waited to be sure that my decision is right and finally, when I am ready to buy…not being able to buy.
And now, a happy i-Pod owner by now, I send fragrant greetings to you, from sunny Zurich, to a place in snow? Oh wow! Winter comes early at your place…
Dear GalileosDaughter
I am glad that quarter 1 does not shock you! for me …it is like an eternity away. As I told Vladimir: I am an impatient person….

YAY! I’m so glad you’re coming to L.A. And SO SO SO glad that the incenses are coming soon too.

March is an eternity away (stomps her foot). Why is it that I can wait for Christmas without problems, but certain things I want to have right away!? Like, Incense rose. Okay, back to being the grown-up that I am. Thanks for letting me rant.
I’d like for Vladimir to send some cooler weather this way, I’m tired of sweating in 93 degree weather still (that about 33/34 degrees Celsius).

I had a similar experience on Saturday when trying to buy a dress, of all things. Online shopping is a beautiful, beautiful thing :)
I can wait till January, but am I reading right? No visit to New York? Ori and I hoped to see you in March.

Hello Gina
I am sooooooo glad, too! Can’t hardly wait these 5 months again. I think I will by the ticket next week, to have something to hold until then. Fragrant greetings to you!
Dear Sabina
Yes, it is a long time. A full winter in between. A perspective that makes me shiver. I wished we had 93 degrees. I wouldn’t mind being in the 90-ies for the rest of my life!
But if I look back my forty plus years I realize that time passes by much too fast. Thus, I hope that this will be true for the coming months for you and me…
Dear Gaia
Online shopping is great. But, there is a but… it is the end of the online shopping process: The delivery! Now, the i-Pod was basically waiting for me around the corner, because the online shop has a pick-up counter. But when ordering abroad…. I could tell you stories of parcels that left the US for Zurich via the moon. Hugs to you
