what goes up usually comes down…

…this is true for perfumers, and for stock markets. (I wonder whether the “M” we see developing in the overview graph is the tipping point….time to get out folks!?) And coming down is usually easier than going up, again true for stock markets, and true for ones blood pumping mechanism, less true for ones knees.
Yes, you guessed right, the nose went up there, staying with friends, hiking yesterday, and moving 70 kg up from 1500 meters above sea level to some 2100 (the W. factor knows the exact number).
The reward: A wonderful view. Sometimes one has to go all the way up to see clearly what’s happening down there. And going up there is the ideal time to think. Time for inspirations, and plans and a clear vision of things ahead.
On our way up a flower carpet; scented pastures with patches of wild roses, wild thyme and more. The upcoming week will feature more pictures and some more reflections on things down there and up there.

Hi Andy, ahh…you life in such a beautiful country, the nature there is so beautiful. I love Switzerland and planning on going there again soon. As a child I visited Switzerland a couple of times and I loved it, it’s one of my favorite countries.

Andy my dear,
What the beeep weighted 70kg that you dragged up that montain?? When I read this post I think of one of our more fragrant journeys, the one to Lefkas in Greece - wild thyme, rosmary and sunripe figs smelled from riding a vespa all around that tiny island - what a bliss:-)
The pics are beautiful and when the meetings and conferences get to boring, think back to your weekend, imagine the scent of thyme and relaaaaaxxxxx;-)

Dear Ylva
aehmm. … the 70 kg, that is me ;-)
You know, I sometimes talk that way, kind of thinking in myself as a zero-weight, etherical being, carrying some 70 kgs with me. I think you understand.
Dear Jenny
Thank you! It is one of my favourite countries too, but you know what comes next: the US! I think the US and Switzerland have a lot in common. In this sense: Happy fourth of July!
