greetings
I am physically back, but not returned to perfumery yet…. still digesting the little Swiss sandwich of yesterday and fixing two or three other issues before I finally have time again to sniff…. what I know already: The next (semi-last) mod on the lavender will be need a touch less galbanum….

Fabulous to hear this, Andy! I wore your lavender trial (before the galbanum and fir modifications) and I was surprised how representative of a lavender it is and at the same time how unique it is compared to any other lavender. I had one issue with it only - there was something acidic in the top notes - something that reminded me of an attempt at lavender that I did and I believe that in mine it was the bergamot in combination with the petit-grain. I never pursued further my lavender but I believe that this might be the reason for getting that note from your lavender too. BUT it is also possible that this is due to skin chemistry - I have slightly dry snik and that tends to make all the citrus oils very acidic.
Good luck with this one! Are you still thinking of a name of you like the Provencial Spring (was that it?)
hugs,
K.

Hi Leopoldo, hehehe. as green as can be ;-)
Hi Konstantin, the name provencal summer was used to label this post’s category. If I ever go out with this fragrance and sell it, I have another name, because I do not find provencal summer to be right for the scent. I will talk about this in January, I guess, ….PS: Will send you a mail soon..
Dear tmpoo… me too….!
