- a passion for scents and perfume- Welcome to Andy Tauer s Blog on perfumery. There is no sensual impression like the sensing of scents. Fragrances touch ourselves deep inside, were we are the most vulnerable and the most open. I create fragrances for the pleasure of sensing and I enjoy sharing my fragrances with you. This blog is about perfumery and my perfumes, existing and coming. Please share your visions with me.
Do not miss tomorrow’s post from the garden of Eden….

Andy, Orris looks perfect! It’s like a wonderful intimate gift…..how exciting to open such a beautiful package. The suspense of waiting for Orris is like waiting for the birth of a child…Oh November please hurry!
Mr. Tauer, I admire your sensibility in labeling and packaging. I clicked to see what the bottle looks like for L’Air du Desert and was transported to the unparalled high style of the 1930s. I showed it to my husband, a designer/artist, and he too thought the graphic was superb. I’ve only tried the small sample of L’Air, but this excellent fragrance is definitely on my ‘to buy’ list. ( It may take a while, since I am a perfumista with about 35 frags on hand right now to ‘use up’ )

Dear Ms Adams, dear Morticia
Thank you very much for your compliment that is very much appreciated especially as the graphic is my baby. Funny enough (just on the side): I was working for days on a visual theme for the l’air du désert marocain, was never happy and then, one evening, by drawing a few lines in the computer, a new graphical representation was born. It was finished within a few minutes, but to come to the point took me days.
