a telephone ringing

It must be about 4 weeks ago by now. I was in the shop of Pascal, talking about this and that, when the phone rang and a client from the Netherlands was calling, asking about the Lonestar Memories. Thus, Pascal passed the phone on and I found myself talking to Sands.

Since then I have exchanged a few mails and figured out that it might be time for a change. I have answered quite a lot of interview questions lately and this time…. I wanted to do it the other way round. The perfumer interviews a perfume lover. When I asked Sands about it, I did not know much about him, hence this interview was fun and I learnt a lot and enjoyed reading some of the best thoughts about perfumes and perfumery I have encountered lately.

Enjoy reading this interview tomorrow. Until then… have a nice Sunday evening.

Now *that* is a great idea! Noone has ever thought of that before as far as I know. Bravo.

I love it. How did you arrive at your questions?

hehehe…. well Colombina, maybe there is a good reason nobody has done that before ;-) we will see. I liked the interview a lot, and still find the idea kind of cool.

Gail: The questions came immediately and I did not think a lot about them. I did not know Sands well, and wanted to know some things from him. And that’s what I asked. I felt somehow that I wasn’t by chance that this phone rang when I was there. I decided on the questions like I do a lot in my life… spontaneously. Important for me was that I do not talk with him about my perfumes. I do not want to make this a marketing blabla for my perfumes. And I did not want to shorten any answer but to leave all answers I got unedited, and true. I hope you will enjoy the interview.

That is a good idea! I will come back tomorrow to read it.
